Overview

The Gwenchana application includes artificial intelligence (AI) features powered by OpenAI API. These features provide grammar explanations, translations, examples, and conversational feedback to help users improve their Korean language skills.

By using AI features within the Application, You agree to these Terms for Using AI in addition to the general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Nature of AI Responses

AI-generated responses are produced automatically by machine learning models and may not always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date. The content is intended for educational and informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional linguistic, legal, or cultural advice.

The Company makes no guarantee regarding the correctness or suitability of AI responses. While we strive to provide helpful and accurate information, AI models can make mistakes or provide information that may not be appropriate for every situation.

We recommend that You:

• Verify important information from multiple sources
• Use AI responses as a learning aid, not as the sole source of truth
• Apply critical thinking when reviewing AI-generated content

Data Processing and Privacy

When You interact with AI features (e.g., by typing questions in the grammar chat), Your text input may be securely transmitted to OpenAI's servers for processing.

What We Share: Only your text queries and necessary context for generating relevant educational responses are shared with OpenAI.

What We Don't Share: No personal identification data (such as email, password, or payment info) is shared with OpenAI.

AI interactions may be logged anonymously to improve service quality. All processing is subject to the OpenAI Privacy Policy and the Gwenchana Privacy Policy.

By using these features, You consent to this limited transfer of text data for the purpose of generating AI responses.

Limitations of Liability

You acknowledge that AI-generated content:

• May contain factual inaccuracies or translation errors
• Does not represent the views or opinions of the Company
• Should be verified independently before use for study or communication
• Is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind

The Company shall not be liable for any damage, misunderstanding, or consequence arising from reliance on AI-generated responses. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss or damage caused by errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.

When using AI features in Gwenchana, You agree to use them responsibly and ethically. Specifically, You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer or misuse AI outputs
• Use the AI features to harass, abuse, or harm others

Violations of these guidelines may lead to suspension or termination of Your account and access to the Service.

You may not:

• Claim ownership or authorship of AI-generated responses
